You are not insured by Luado. But we are happy to assist you with it!
As a private trader you are responsible for both accident and liability-insurance. If you are a light entrepreneur through Ukko, they have "Assurance" included in their service.
You can read more about what's included in the Ukko Assurance here.
The Ukko-insurance covers many risks of being an entrepreneur. However, if you want to be insured for occupational illnesses (medical treatment and compensation for work-related disabilities and/or death), this is a separate insurance that is included in IF's Entrepreneur’s Accident Insurance.
You can contact IF to receive a quote based on your medical history and age.
Detailed information:
Entrepreneur’s Accident Insurance policy is the only insurance by If which provides protection against occupational illnesses.
Entrepreneur’s Accident Insurance is a voluntary insurance policy, but it requires that the entrepreneur has a valid YEL (Self-Employed Persons' Pension Insurance) policy in place.
IF recommends a combination of YEL and Entrepreneur’s Accident Insurance for comprehensive coverage.
In 2025, the minimum annual income threshold for YEL coverage is €9,208.43. If an entrepreneur meets this threshold, they are eligible to take out both YEL and Entrepreneur’s Accident Insurance.
No other voluntary insurance offers as comprehensive protection against occupational illnesses as Entrepreneur’s Accident Insurance.
A standard health insurance policy, taken out as a private individual, only covers medical expenses—and even then, there are compensation limits.
Coverage provided by Entrepreneur’s Accident Insurance:
Unlimited reimbursement of medical expenses
Compensation for loss of income
Rehabilitation support
Opportunities for retraining
